Franca Lanzone was born on 28 September 1919 in Savona. She was a housewife. After the armistice, in October 1943, she joined the partisans of the Colombo SAP Brigade, operating in the city and framed in the Gramsci Division. For about one year she played the role of informant. On 21 October 1944 she was captured by the Black Brigades while she was at home. She was imprisoned at the headquarters of the Fascist Federation of Savona and executed on 1 November 1944, at the age of 25.
